Diving in Malta |

Malta is very popular with scuba divers from all over the world because of its clear blue waters. Besides very beautiful diving sites, it also offers a large variety of fauna and flora. |
In Malta, one can explore a lot of different dive sites from the shore. The following are some dive sites on can do from shore: |

Cirkewwa,Wied iz-Zurrieq, Ghar Lapsi, Qawra, Ahrax Point, Dellimara, Zonqor Point, Donkey Slope, Monoel Island, Sliema |
In Malta, one can also do a lot of wreck diving with the most popular being: The Rozi (which is a tug boat that was sunk in Cirkewwa). The Carolita, (which is a barge that sunk during the last World War in Manoel Island). The Um El Faroud (a tanker which exploded in the Malta Drydocks whilst work was being done on it. Unfortunately seven people lost their lives. It was later sunk at Wied iz-Zurrieq). The Maori (The is a destroyer which was also hit during WW2 It now rests in Marsamxetto Harbour in Valletta). |
